Every window, ascending: 25 Toes-to-Bar, 50 Double-Unders, then Squat Cleans - 15 @ 135/85, 13 @ 185/115, 11 @ 225/145, 9 @ 275/175, 7 @ 315/205. Beat each window to continue (repeat of Open 16.2).
Primary movement: T2B/DU/Squat Cleans
Open 19.2 brought back 16.2's escalating squat-clean gauntlet - the same 75-rep toll of toes-to-bar and double-unders guarding bars that grow by 40-50 pounds per window. Three years later the community's strength had visibly moved: windows that eliminated the 2016 masses became survivable, and the 275/175 bar saw real traffic. It remains the Open's best barometer of whether your engine and your barbell actually grew together.
| Level (Reps) | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| beginner | 90 | 85 |
| intermediate | 165 | 160 |
| advanced | 250 | 240 |
| elite | 330+ | 320+ |
Total reps across completed windows.
Unchanged from 16.2: T2B in 5s from window one, serene double-unders, first bar in controlled touch-and-go, everything after 185 as committed singles. The strategic upgrade experience taught: don't celebrate making a window - the 20 seconds after the buzzer belong to plate math and breathing, not emotion. Arrive at your final bar with at least 90 seconds; heavy squat cleans at second 10 of a window are donations.
Scaled: knee raises, single-unders, lighter ascending cleans.
