Every 4 mins, ascending: 25 Toes-to-Bar, 50 Double-Unders, then Squat Cleans - 15 @ 135/85, 13 @ 185/115, 11 @ 225/145, 9 @ 275/175, 7 @ 315/205. Beat the window to earn the next 4 minutes.
Primary movement: T2B/DU/Squat Cleans
Open 16.2 (repeated as 19.2) is the interval-elimination format at its most theatrical: every window opens with the same 75-rep toll of toes-to-bar and double-unders, then presents a squat clean bar that gets 50 pounds heavier each round while the reps barely shrink. Survive the window, earn four more minutes and a heavier bar. It's a strength progression wearing a conditioning costume - the 225/145 window is where most advanced athletes' stories end.
| Level (Reps) | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| beginner | 90 (window 1) | 85 |
| intermediate | 165 (window 2) | 160 |
| advanced | 250 (window 3) | 240 |
| elite | 330+ | 320+ |

The T2B are the hidden tax collector: 5s from the very first window or they'll bankrupt window three. Double-unders smooth, never sprinted. First bar in 3-4 touch-and-go sets; from 185, singles with a purposeful 5-second cycle. Bank 30+ seconds in early windows for plate changes and composure at the heavy bars. Know your realistic final bar and treat everything before it as a delivery service to that moment.
Scaled: knee raises, single-unders, cleans starting light and rising moderately.
