AMRAP 20 mins: 4 Dumbbell Thrusters (2x50/35 lb), 6 Toes-to-Bar, 24 Double-Unders.
Primary movement: DB Thrusters/T2B/DU
Open 20.2 is death by tiny rounds: 4 double-dumbbell thrusters, 6 toes-to-bar, 24 double-unders - a 34-rep loop most athletes lap in about a minute, repeated for twenty. No single station threatens anyone; the twenty-minute accumulation threatens everyone. With 15+ rounds meaning 60+ thrusters and 360+ double-unders, it's the Open's premier test of transition hygiene: the athletes who lose two seconds moving between stations lose two full rounds by the end.
| Level (Rounds) | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| beginner | 9 | 8 |
| intermediate | 12 | 11 |
| advanced | 15 | 14 |
| elite | 18+ | 17+ |
Rounds in 20 minutes (34 reps per round).
Everything unbroken, forever - the scaling is built into the round size. The war is between reps: dumbbells parked where you land after the rope, bar chalked once every four rounds, zero standing appreciation of your work. Breathe on the double-unders (relaxed bounce, one breath per 4-6 reps) because it's the only station long enough to be a lung. Pick a round pace by minute 3 and audit it every five rounds like an accountant.
Scaled: 35/20 lb dumbbells, hanging knee raises, single-unders.
