AMRAP 10 mins: 30 Double-Unders, 15 Power Snatches (75/55 lb) (repeat of Open 11.1).
Primary movement: DU/Snatches
Open 14.1 opened the 2014 season by resurrecting the Open's very first workout - 11.1's ten minutes of double-unders and light power snatches - turning it into a three-year progress mirror for the community. The test is unchanged: rope composure and hip-driven snatch cycling at a pace just barely too fast to be comfortable. It remains the cleanest 10-minute engine-plus-skill audit in the Open catalog.
| Level (Rounds) | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| beginner | 3 | 2.5 |
| intermediate | 5 | 4.5 |
| advanced | 7 | 6 |
| elite | 9+ | 8+ |
Rounds in 10 minutes (45 reps per round).
Identical playbook to 11.1: unbroken relaxed rope, snatches 8-7 early becoming brisk singles when breathing gets loud, sub-3-second transitions. If you have an old 11.1/14.1 score, put it where you can see it. The snatch is the scoreboard: hips finish every rep, arms just guide - the athletes who fade are the ones curling the bar by minute 6.
Scaled: 45 single-unders and 45/35 lb snatches per round.
