AMRAP 10 mins: 30 Double-Unders, 15 Power Snatches (75/55 lb).
Primary movement: DU/Snatches
Open 11.1 was the very first workout of the very first CrossFit Open in 2011 - the couplet that launched the worldwide online competition format: 10 minutes of 30 double-unders and 15 light power snatches. It was repeated identically as 14.1, making it the Open's original recurring benchmark. Simple, fast and honest: rope efficiency and light-barbell cycling with nowhere to hide for 10 minutes.
| Level (Rounds) | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| beginner | 3 | 2.5 |
| intermediate | 5 | 4.5 |
| advanced | 7 | 6 |
| elite | 9+ | 8+ |
Rounds in 10 minutes (45 reps per round).
Double-unders unbroken and relaxed - every trip costs 5+ seconds over 10 minutes. Snatches in 2 touch-and-go sets early (8-7), smooth singles late; the 75/55 bar punishes arm-pulling, so snap the hips every rep. Transitions under 3 seconds. Target consistent 90-second rounds and sprint the last one.
Scaled: 45 single-unders and snatches at 45/35 lb. Beginner: 30 single-unders and 10 light dumbbell snatches per round.
