5 Rounds for time: 20 Handstand Push-Ups, 40 Pull-Ups, 60 Pistols (Alternating Legs)
Primary movement: Pullups/Pistols
Maggie is a high-skill gymnastics grinder: 5 rounds for time of 20 handstand push-ups, 40 pull-ups and 60 pistols (alternating legs). The totals are intimidating - 100 HSPU, 200 pull-ups and 300 pistols - making it one of the highest-volume gymnastics benchmarks in CrossFit. Maggie demands not just skill in three advanced movements but the ability to repeat them under deep fatigue for 25-40 minutes.
| Level (Time) | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| beginner | 38:00+ | 40:00+ |
| intermediate | 29:00 | 31:00 |
| advanced | 22:00 | 24:00 |
| elite | sub 18:00 | sub 19:30 |
Partition everything into small sets immediately: HSPU in 5s, pull-ups in 8-10s, pistols in 10-20s. Shoulder fatigue from HSPU bleeds directly into pull-ups - never take either near failure. Pistols are the 'rest station': slow, balanced reps keep your heart rate manageable. Chalk and a quick shake-out between sets beats standing around; keep breaks under 10 seconds.
Scaled: 5 rounds of 10 pike push-ups, 20 ring rows or banded pull-ups, 30 alternating reverse lunges. Beginner: 3 rounds of the same. Pistols can also be scaled to pistols-to-box.
